| 8 | ET-LDHCM | Not officially confirmed | Long-range hypersonic cruise missile development programme; specifications and operational status remain unconfirmed. |
| 9 | BrahMos-II | Not officially confirmed | Proposed hypersonic cruise missile programme associated with India–Russia cooperation; developmental concept. |
| 10 | Submarine-Launched Cruise Missile (SLCM) | Not officially confirmed | Reported indigenous submarine-launched cruise missile development programme; public specifications and service status are limited. |
Notes:
- BrahMos is jointly developed by India's DRDO and Russia's NPO Mashinostroyeniya.
- Nirbhay and ITCM are closely related development efforts. They should not automatically be counted as entirely separate operational missile families.
- LR-LACM is a land-attack cruise missile programme intended for land- and ship-based launch platforms.
- BrahMos-A is an air-launched variant. It is included for completeness, although it is not a ground-launched cruise missile.
- BrahMos-NG, BrahMos-II and ET-LDHCM should not be described as operational without confirmation from current official sources.
- Ranges are approximate and may vary by variant. Publicly reported figures are not necessarily official operational specifications.
