Notes:

  • BrahMos is jointly developed by India's DRDO and Russia's NPO Mashinostroyeniya. Its anti-ship variants are operational with the Indian Navy.
  • NASM-SR and NASM-MR are indigenous Indian anti-ship missile programmes. Successful testing does not automatically mean full operational induction.
  • Exocet, Harpoon, Kh-35 and Klub are foreign-origin systems; they are included to cover missiles operated or acquired by Indian forces, not solely Indian-designed missiles.
  • Sea Eagle and P-15 Termit are included for historical reference and should not be assumed to remain in active service.
  • LR-ASHM is included as a reported programme, not as a confirmed operational missile.
  • Ranges are approximate and can vary by variant, launch platform and source. A missile family may include both anti-ship and land-attack versions.
